How to request deletion of your data
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Who to ask
Darcemi is a platform used by other businesses, so who handles your request depends on who you are. The split of roles is explained in the privacy policy.
- You are a customer or patient of a business that uses Darcemi: ask that business. They decide what data about you is kept and why; we only process it on their instructions. If you write to us, we will pass your request on to them.
- You have a Darcemi account: write to us directly. We are responsible for your account and business data.
2. How to request it
Write to contact@darcemi.com with the subject "Data deletion". We need to verify your identity before acting, so please include:
- The name and email address you use to sign in.
- Your business subdomain, if you remember it.
- What you want deleted: the whole account or only part of it.
- A document proving you are who you say you are.
We will reply within one month at the latest. If the request is complex we may extend that, and we will tell you before the deadline passes.
3. What gets deleted
Closing an account deletes or anonymises:
- The business data and its configuration: calendar, services, opening hours, branding.
- Customer records and their appointment history.
- WhatsApp channel conversations and signed consent forms.
- Team member accounts and their permissions.
Data is kept for 30 days after the contract ends so that you can export it. After that it is deleted. If you want it deleted sooner, say so in your request.
4. What cannot be deleted, and why
Some data must be kept for a set period by law, even if you request deletion. It is stored blocked: not used for anything other than answering whoever may claim it.
| What | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Invoicing | 6 years | Spanish Commercial Code |
| Security logs | 12 months | Investigating improper access |
5. If you connected a Google or Facebook account
Revoking access from those accounts stops Darcemi receiving further data, but it does not by itself delete what is already stored: for that you need to use the procedure above.
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy › Apps and websites.
6. If you are not satisfied
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency: aepd.es.
